  • 4 Wahlburgers Chuck Brisket Blend Burgers
  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
  • 4 slices Wahlburgers American Cheese (optional)
  • 4 burger buns, preferably brioche
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles
  1. 1. Marinate the Portobello Mushrooms: In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Place the portobello mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes, turning occasionally to coat evenly.
  2. 2. Prep the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Grill the Portobello Mushrooms: Remove the mushrooms from the marinade and grill them for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender and slightly charred. Set aside and keep warm.
  4. 4. Cook the Burgers: Season the Wahlburgers Chuck Brisket Blend Burgers with salt and pepper. Grill the burgers for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each burger during the last minute of cooking and cover the grill to melt the cheese.
  5. 5. Toast the Buns: Lightly butter the burger buns and toast them on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. 6. Prepare the Thyme Mayo: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and chopped fresh thyme. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  7. 7. Assemble the Burgers: Spread thyme mayo on both the top and bottom buns. Place the grilled burger patty on the bottom bun, followed by the grilled portobello mushroom. Add optional toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickles. Cap with the top bun.
  8. 8. Serve: Serve the Portobello Mushroom Chuck Brisket Burgers immediately, paired with your favorite side dishes.
